The Nightmare Before Christmas is an animated musical film directed by Henry Selick and produced by Tim Burton and Denise DiNovi. The film is about the residents of Halloween Town, who take over Christmas. It is based on drawings and poem by Tim Burton. The film was nominated amongst the 1993 Academy award film nominees.
