Banned Apparel Helena Buckle Platform Boot Size: UK 8

As soon as I tried these on, and stood up, I was in agony from the bend on the tongue of the boot- it digs into your foot like crazy- the instep allowance for this boot is incredibly small. I'm a 6 1/2, and ordered an 8 for width, and they only just fit width wise, but are very narrow, so if you have wide feet, or a high instep or even a normal instep, I don't think these boots are good. The soles don't look as if they have amazing grip either, so I wouldn't recommend them for Winter on slippy wet or icey surfaces. I can't stand up for the pain of them on my upper foot, so unfortunately have to return them. The laces are very thin and feel like they would snap easily when pulled to tighten, and the material of the boot would scratch and ruin very easily, and the heels have this weird fuzzyness to them- I don't know why.
